On the head side of the coin, there is portrait of King Rama IX, on the tails side we have the seal of Chiang Mai University. Running around the edge of these both sides of the coin. We can read the words “Phrabat Somdet Phra Paraminthara Maha Bhumibol Adulyadej” and “50th year Anniversary of founding Chiang Mai University 20th January 2014 Thailand 20 Bath” in Thai, obviously.
