ด้านหน้ามีพระบรมสาทิสลักษณ์ พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวภูมิพลอดุลยเดช ผินพระพักรไปทางด้านซ้ายของเหรียญเป็นประธาน ริมขอบเหรียญจารึกว่า “ปะเทศไทย รัชกาลที่9”
ด้านหลังมีรูป ต้นสัปปะรด ต้นข้าว และปลา เบื้องบนจารึกว่า “๕ บาท” และ FAO 16 OCT WORLD FOOD DAY ข้างใต้จารึกว่า “พ.ศ. ๒๕๒๕”
ขนาดเส้นผ่านศูนย์กลาง 30.00 มิลลิเมตร ชนิด นิกเกิล จำนวนที่ผลิต 1,000,000 เหรียญ
(เหรียญชนิดราคา 1 บาท ก็มีลักษณะเช่นเดียวกับชนิดราคา 5 บาทเพียงแต่ว่าเส้นผ่านศูนย์กลางเล็กกว่าและผลิตมากกว่า คือผลิต 5,000,000 เหรียญ)
Commemorative WORLD FOOD DAY 5 Baht coins 1982.
On the head side of the coin is a Portraits of King Rama IX and on rim of the coin are words “Thailand Reign IX”.
On the tail side of the coin there are picture of a pineapple plant a paddy plant and a fish, on the beyond inscribe “5 Bath” and “FAO 16 OCT WORLD FOOD DAY” beneath the pictures inscribe “1982” in Thai and Roman alphabet. Diameter is 30.00 millimeter, type nickel. Launching in year 1982. Number of mintages are 1,000,000 coins.
(Type value 1 is character same as value 5 Baht but diameter smaller and more mintages to 5,000,000 coins)
